Went on a short scouting trip this evening and caught a limit in less than an hour. We are seeing more and more fish on the deeper structure each day so the fishing is only gonna get better. Caught every fish on the Natural Forage Baits T-shad in the 4 Reel Special color.

Fast Limits on Deep Structure at Toledo Bend

The bite might be tough but that hasn’t kept us from filling up the coolers with some slabs. This past week has been a blast and its only gonna keep getting better.  We are targeting natural laydowns and standing timber in 18’-22’ on points and on the edge of flats to catch these fish. Most days the Natural Forage T-shad performs the best but shiners play a major roll also. 
We still have a couple week days left in May and a few days left in June.

Coolers Filling Up on Toledo Bend

These guys put a hurtin on em’ this morning. Mr. Bo Lejeune and his crew caught their 4 man limit and got sent home with a few gallon bags filled with filets. We were targeting brush tops and natural laydowns in 18-23’ of water with shiners. The Natural Forage T-shad in “4 Real Special” did some damage as well.

Hot June Bite on Toledo Bend

The bite just keeps on getting better! We are seeing more fish show up everyday which only means we are gonna keep catching. We have been targeting brush piles and natural laydowns in 18’-24’ of water with a Natural forage T-shad. 
I have this weekend available (6/14-6/16) and some more days available in June.

The past couple weeks has been a grind but we have been able to put together a nice mess of fish each day. We are catching majority of our fish in 18-23’ of water on shiners. While also catching a few on the Natural Forage T-shad in the color “magic shad”. 
The bass bite has also been phenomenal. Catching anywhere from 20-40 fish a day has seemed to become a common occurrence. We are targeting main lake points and drops with an 8xd and a big Carolina Rig to catch the bigger fish but that C-rig will put the numbers in the boat too. 
We have some dates open in July for crappie and bass so get in while they are available!
